Federal Member for Pearce, Christian Porter, has launched the Muchea Industrial Park Investment Prospectus (MIPIP).
The MIPIP, which received Federal funding through the Building Better Regions Fund, was officially launched by Mr Porter at Nesci Winery Estate in Lower Chittering on Friday.
The MIPIP will create a strong regional economy by strengthening the strategic planning for the Muchea Industrial Park, which is set to become one of Western Australia’s largest and key industrial sites.
Once completed, the Muchea Industrial Park will serve to create major investment opportunities for the surrounding region, attracting freight and logistic operators, importers, exporters and manufactures.
Mr Porter said the significance of the Muchea Industrial Park could not be understated.
“This key industrial development will drive economic growth in the area, encourage job creation, increase connectivity and make the region a more attractive place to work and live,” Mr Porter said.
“I am proud to have assisted the Shire of Chittering in securing funding under the Building Better Regions Fund for this important project and am excited to see it progress.
“I would also like to congratulate the Shire for having the foresight to apply for funding for such a critical project.”
