Federal Member for Pearce, Christian Porter, is calling on local residents to support a push to have the intersection at Main Street, The Promenade and The Broadway made safer.
“Traffic levels have been steadily increasing as a result of population growth in Ellenbrook,” Mr Porter said.
“The intersection at Main Street, The Promenade and The Broadway in Ellenbrook is a notoriously dangerous intersection, particularly at peaks times.
“In the last five years, there have been 27 crashes, 46 per cent of them as a result of vehicles turning right across traffic.
“It is incredibly important that we work together as a community to make sure our roads are safe – please head to my website and show your support in getting this intersection fixed.”
