Eligible child care providers can now apply for funding to help break down barriers that may be preventing disadvantaged and vulnerable families accessing early learning services.

Federal Member for Pearce, Christian Porter, said applications for the Government’s new $124 million Community Child Care Fund (CCCF) are now open and urged all eligible local child care providers to apply.

“The CCCF open competitive grant is designed to improve child care participation and increase the availability of places particularly in disadvantaged regional or remote communities,” Mr Porter said.

“The CCCF will also assist these local child care services that may be experiencing financial viability issues.”

Mr Porter said the CCCF is a key part of the Liberal Government’s $2.5 billion investment in child care.
