Students and staff at Holy Cross College in Ellenbrook, today celebrated the opening of their Early Learning Centre and Secondary Learning Centre that were built with the help of over$3.2 million in Australian Government funding.
The Hon Christian Porter MP, opened the new facilities on behalf of the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Education, Senator the Hon Scott Ryan.
The project, totalling over $12.3 million, was partly funded through $3.2 million in Australian Government grants, and by over $9 million raised by the Holy Cross College community.
The project involved the construction of an Early Learning Centre which will provide facilities for students up to Year 2, the construction of a Secondary Learning Centre including Design and Technology workshops and the construction of a 54 bay carpark.
Mr Porter said the new facilities are an important part of ensuring that students get a great education.

Australian Government funding was provided through the Capital Grants Programme.
