New app to help Australian businesses export

The Coalition Government is helping Australian businesses become exporters through a new app.

Federal Member for Pearce, Christian Porter said the Export Essentials app, now available for Apple and Android devices from app stores, was the first of its kind specifically targeting the export community.

“This app has been developed to help both new exporters and more established businesses in Pearce succeed in the export market,” Mr Porter said.

“This app is the latest tool from the Coalition Government to help small and medium sized businesses become exporters and take full advantage of the free trade agreements with the north Asian powerhouse economies of China, Japan and South Korea.

“The information in the app will be updated on a regular basis to respond to changes in the local and global environment.”

The app covers a range of topics from an introduction to exporting through to more advanced content such as managing currency risk, finance solutions and export licences and regulations.

The app contains a wealth of information, as well as templates and key contacts to help businesses develop and implement their export strategies and achieve their export goals.

Export Essentials is a free app that was developed through a partnership between the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation and the Export Council of Australia. To find the app simply search for “Export Essentials” in the app store
