The electorate of Pearce is one of the most diverse in the country. Pearce stretches as far north as Lancelin on the coast and as far south as Beverley in the central Wheatbelt.
Covering more than 13,000sq km the electorate includes the northern suburbs of Quinns Rocks, Yanchep and Two Rocks; the rural centres of Gingin, Toodyay, Bindoon, Northam and York and the unique east metropolitan regions of the Darling Ranges and the Swan Valley.
Federal Member for Pearce, Christian Porter welcomed an Antarctic experience of a lifetime for students in years 5 to 8, who will have the chance to name the nation’s new icebreaker vessel, with the winning entry receiving a trip to Antarctica.
Jobseekers, students and workers in the electorate of Pearce will have greater opportunities to obtain job skills and more access to support than ever before, under a new Skilling Australians Fund announced by the Liberal Government.
