fuel promotion terms and conditions and privacy policy


1.     The Promoter is Christian Porter MP.

2.     The Prize consists of three BP fuel gift cards, each to the value of $100. The prize is not redeemable for cash.

3.     The total prize pool is $300.

4.     Entries close at the Entry Closure date, 23:59 AWST on 31 July 2018.

5.     The winner will be drawn on the Draw Date, 15 August 2018 at midday AWST at 3/28 Main Street, Ellenbrook. The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received prior to the Entry Closure date.

6.     The Winner will be notified by email by 17:00 17 August 2018.

7.     Employees of the Promoter, family of the Promoter and family of the employees of the Promoter are ineligible to enter the Promotion. 

8.     The Promotion is open to permanent residents, aged 18 years and above at the Draw Date, of Pearce Electoral Division, according to the boundaries determined by the Australian Electoral Commission. The Promoter reserves the right to verify this information.

9.     Only one entry per person is allowed.

10.   Entrants require a valid email address to participate.

11.   The purpose of this promotion is to promote generally Christian Porter’s activities in the community. No public funding will be used for the prize.

12.   The Promoter reserves the right to contact entrants with information relevant to residents of Pearce.

13.   This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, or BP.

14.   There is no commercial arrangement between the Promotor and BP.

15.   There will be three winners, the Promotor’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

16.   This is a game of chance and skill does not affect the outcome.

17.   By entering and participating, entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Facebook from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to (i) entrant’s participation in the promotion, or (ii) entrant’s participation in any Prize related activities, acceptance of a Prize and/or use or misuse of a Prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s).
