Despite global headwinds, Australia’s economy is resilient.
Last year, for the first time, over 100,000 young Australians found a job. This year, for the first time in over a decade, the Government will deliver a Budget surplus.
We are delivering tax relief for workers and small businesses - to reward hard work and encourage small businesses to create more jobs.
We're investing a record $100 billion into building road and rail infrastructure, to reduce congestion and unlock the potential of our regions.
We are helping families with long term funding increases for schools and hospitals, more affordable child care and a plan to deliver more affordable energy.
We are securing our borders and working to keep Australians safe.
A stronger economy means we can deliver on our plan to:
Create 1.25 million jobs over the next five years.
Maintain budget surpluses and pay down Labor’s debt.
Deliver tax relief for families and small businesses.
Guarantee increased investments for schools, hospitals and roads.
Keep Australians safe and our borders secure.
