Congratulations to Rossmoyne Senior High School who has been selected for the Independent Schools Program. This program will empower Rossmoyne Senior High School by providing greater freedom to make decisions best suited to their needs and the local community. The next intake of Public Independent Schools will commence next year.
Mandatory Sentencing Legislation
As of 22 September 2009 offenders who assault and cause bodily harm to police officer, transit guards, court security officers or prison officers will face mandatory minimum jail terms. The Mandatory Sentencing legislation was one of the key commitments from the Liberal Party in the 2008 State Election.
