Discover the Rhythm and Power of African Drumming at Yanchep/Two Rocks Library

Participants will be captivated by the vibrant West African culture and music in these hands-on drumming workshops.

Children can find their rhythm and enjoy making music with others, guided by percussionist and drum maker Paul.

Akwaaba means welcome in the Akan language from Ghana. and this drumming workshop will get everyone moving to the beat. Each participant will be provided with a traditional African hand drum and other percussion instruments bring alive the rhythms of Africa.

Led by Paul Osei Kofi, Akwaaba has been entertaining a wide variety of audiences for over 20 years with energetic, powerful and interactive performances, drum circles and workshops.
