Future climate and food in WA

  • Baskerville Hall 129 Memorial Avenue Baskerville, WA, 6056 Australia (map)

Western Australia’s climate is changing. Food production, availability and quality will be affected by climate; and food producers and consumers will need to continue to adapt. Explore how the climate has already changed in WA and hear about future predictions. Learn about the ways our local agriculture and water sectors have responded and ponder the idea of what will be on our supermarket shelves in 2050. Presented by Dr Ian Foster from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

Bookings are essential.

This event is presented as part of National Science Week 2018 and received grant funding from the Australian Government. Presented by City of Swan and Switch Your Thinking.
