Thinking Green - Build a Native Bee Hotel

  • Ellenbrook Community Library (map)

Have a buzzing good time in the April school holidays!

Australia has 2000 species of native bees, 800 of which are endemic to Western Australia. Native bees pollinate plants and play an important role in the ecosystem. Come and learn more about our native bees, how to know when they've been visiting, and how they help us in our gardens. Build a ‘bee hotel’ from recycled materials, for friendly bees to live in.

This is a FREE event, suitable for adults and children aged 6 - 12 and booking is essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
